To Be Joyful.

At CRAVE Student Ministries, it is our mission that through partnering with parents, students are equipped to be joyful disciples of Jesus Christ in their family, the church and the world.

We combine Bible-based teaching, authentic small group discussion, Christ-centered worship, and
relational-focused events to give a collection of venues for spiritual growth and formation.

Our core values are:
* Abide - In the teachings of Jesus (John 8:31)
* Love - God and others (Matthew 22:37-40)
* Build - Relationships with one another (John 13:35)
* Serve - Local church involvement (1 Peter 4:10)
* Engage - Local communities with the Gospel of Jesus (Matthew 5:14-16)

Vision Appalachia Youth Mission Trip

Several members of the CRAVE team will be heading out mid-July 2024 for a wonderful week of ministry, challenge and personal growth as they share life in central WV.  They will be extending love and grace to “the least of these in Appalachia”, and they will have opportunity to meet people from other states and backgrounds while making a difference in the lives of people who need the love and grace that Christ freely gives. During the week, they will do a combination of construction work-site jobs and serve at a Children’s sport camp.

While the team traveling to WV is already in place, you can still be a part of this mission.  First, PRAY! Pray for the team as they train, prepare and travel, for their time spent in Appalachia, for the people they will serve alongside and encounter, etc.  Second, if you feel led, give.  The teens and adult volunteers are responsible for raising the required funds to be a part of this mission, and donations are received as a blessing.

Parent Resources

A Note on Parent Resources:

As a parent, I understand how difficult it can be to sift through the endless amount of Christian content aimed at discipling the youth of today. My hope is that you find these resources helpful in discipling your family. I have discovered that most content of this nature can have pitfalls or leave gaps. However, I like to take an approach of "chew on the meat and spit out the bones", meaning, use what is helpful and disregard what isn't. In addition, an open Bible is a great discipleship tool! I will add content here as I come across new things that I think might be beneficial to us all as we train and equip our families.
