Opportunities to Serve
We look to serve because Jesus came to serve and to give His life a ransom for many. There are many opportunities to serve @ HCC, including the web and tech teams. Please look through the entire site, and the list below, to view the various ministries to see if God may be calling you to serve. If so, then the first step is applying for a ministry position. Please download and complete the Ministry Application found here, or contact us.
* Harvest Cafe - Set up and serve light refreshments between services.
* Harvest Gear Manager - Oversee the purchasing and sale of Harvest clothing.
* Mission Trip Leader - contact Mark Bramble
* Volunteer Office Assistant - Process visitor and membership database. Assist with bulk mailings, special events or day-to-day operations. Contact Tammy Rondinelli.
* 1st Impression Team - Greet and open door. Hand out Brochure. Extend Hospitality. Act as Welcome/Information Booth attendant to answer questions and pass out Harvest gift mugs to 1st time visitors. Help assemble gift mugs.
* Finance Team - Count and process offering following services.
* Parking Lot Team - Direct cars and visitors.
* Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) - contact Pastor Mike
* Usher Team - Receive offerings.
* Prison Ministry - Visit inmates and share the good news.
* Prayer Team - Pray during our service for our services. Pray for any prayer requests received.
* Nehemiah Team - Help with building up-keep and fix-it projects.
* Drama Team - Prepare drama/skits for adult and/or children's services. Involvement with Harvest Christmas Program.
* Praise and Worship Team or Sound Team - contact Chris Clinch.
* Mime Team - contact church office.
* Food for Fellowship Ministry - Prepare meals for families following hospital stays. Help with Funeral Luncheons or other carry-in dinners and special events.
* Visitation - Visit sick, shut-in or hospitalized people.
* Events, Decorating, Tape or Greeting Card - help with special events, decorate the church, duplicate and distribute copies of sermon messages or send out birthday, miss you, glad you visited and/or sympathy cards.
* Community Group Ministry
* Be a Teacher:
- Impact Teachers - Teach an Adult Sunday morning class or Bible Study.
- Halftime Teachers - Teach an Adult Wednesday evening class or Bible Study.
- Kidz World Teachers/Assistant Teachers - Impact a Kid: Impact the Next Generation: Impact the Future
- The EDGE Student Ministries - Help during Wednesday evening middle-school age youth service.
