    Hello Harvest!!!

It is hard to imagine that we are in February of 2010 already, but here we are.  You have seen many changes to our worship environment in the past few weeks.  I want to let each of you know that the one thing that will never change is – Jesus!  The Gospel is central to the music and the message at Harvest each week. Know that while your Elders are willing to consider many styles and traditions, we are not willing to water down the Gospel.  You can count on it being delivered in the same real and relevant manner you have come to expect each week.

Sunday morning services will begin at PVC on March 7th, and we are all so excited about the move to this new time slot.  Our efforts at the PVC Campus will continue to expand and we expect that along with that the Lord will provide new opportunities and challenges in that community. This would be a great time for you to consider which ministries the Lord may have for you to serve in at HCC.  As the Lord has brought many new brothers and sisters to our church over the last two years; he has also continued to bring the talents and skills into our midst to keep pace with this growth.  If you are not already a part of serving at your church, please complete a Connect Card and share with us your desire to be a part of serving the Lord in our ministry.

We are currently considering a Sunday night service at the Kittanning Campus which would include the same sermon as Sunday morning but might include a little different musical theme.  We have discussed Southern Gospel style music as one possibility.  We are not prepared to put any details together for this yet, but are simply looking for some preliminary feedback.  Send me an email at with your thoughts.  We cannot promise you that there will be a Sunday night service, but your feedback and willingness to be a servant in all of our services will influence the decision making process.

Finally, I'd like to encourage you to attend the Focus on Marriage Conference on Feb 27th to be held at both HCC Campuses.  This conference will provide a valuable opportunity for you to focus on strengthening important building blocks in your marriage.  I hope I will see all of you there.  We have tried to offer the tickets at an affordable price, but if you are having difficulty in that area, see me directly.

    Much love to you all,
